DESCRIPTION:
Kinesio® Tex Gold™ FP, Elastic Therapeutic Tape is a unique therapeutic tape designed to provide patients with the same benefits as the original elastic movement support tape, but with added Nano Touch and Fingerprint technology. This technology is used to mimic human touch and give superficial and deep tissue stimulation to the patient’s skin to improve circulation, support muscles, and aid the natural healing process. Muscle tape can stay on for multiple days to help prevent further injury to the muscles while still allowing movement.
The improved design of therapeutic tape allows for longer-lasting hold and relief thanks to the Micro Grip Deep Set Adhesive. The adhesive provides a better grip with less adhesive while extending patient wear time with water-resistant, hypo-allergenic, and latex-free materials that are kind to the skin. The new protected weave process of the athletic therapeutic tape is used to provide improved comfort for patients of all ages, while the higher-grade cotton provides maximum breathability throughout daily activities.
The use and effectiveness of this elastic movement support tape are enhanced by following proper taping techniques. Applying therapeutic tape for wrist, shoulder, back, neck, knee, or foot pain can help re-educate muscles or provide support to weak muscle groups. This elastic therapeutic tape should be applied 30 minutes after physical activity on clean, dry skin for the best results. It’s recommended that Kinesio® Tex Gold™ FP, Elastic Therapeutic Tape be used in clinics, hospitals, training rooms, and physical therapy offices by medical care professionals. For additional training, consider joining a program to become a Certified Kinesio Tape Technician.
