Medline’s SensiCare® Free Nitrile Exam Gloves offer the end user a latex-free and chemical accelerator-free solution, thereby, minimizing the risk of skin breakdown or adverse skin and allergic reactions (Type I [latex] and Type IV [chemical accelerator] allergies). Chemical accelerators are typically used to speed up the production process of a glove, bind the raw materials, and ensure a durable and elastic glove. However, nitrile gloves are the safest option for healthcare professionals for preventing allergies.
They are generally recommended for use in areas with greater emphasis on exam gloves, such as trauma units, or areas that deal with harsh chemicals or liquid immersion.
This glove provides users with a comfortable fit, good feel, strength and tactile sensitivity, making them an ideal choice when barrier protection is needed for wearers who have sensitive skin.
